Bank Job

The Heist! What a ride! The amazing global escape room franchise, Escape Reality, commissioned us to write, film and edit a narrative bank heist themed trailer promoting and detailing the story of their Bank Job themed escape room. This was enormous fun to film! Shooting around the Cardiff Bay area, including the majestic St David’s Hotel, we hired a team of talented actors to tell the story of a mysteriously wealthy woman depositing a rather cryptic package to her bank, under the watchful eye of a band of robbers.

The team at Volcano produced everything from script to screen; including costume design, prop hire, vehicles and set locations, casting as well as the production itself too. We love telling stories, and so narrative films are one of our all time favourites. Escape Reality were thrilled with the result and played it as part of their opening explainers to all gamers entering the rooms, along with using it for promotional purposes online. Following the success of this project, Escape Reality commissioned us for a whole series of narrative videos which you can catch on our Youtube channel!
